The traditional philosophy of violins to design individual character

This study analyses the luthier's philosophy on traditional violin making through a literature review and online survey to investigate sources of affective value produced by violin. Violins have existed for more than five centuries without changing their artisan design, being taken in industrial advances such as alternative materials greater efficiency that accompanied many technological innovations since revolution. The artisanship, which has been passed down is considered key these violins, known acoustic performance appearance over time due use natural techniques skilled artisans. results this suggest violins affirms individual character musical instrument conscious its growth after it worked.
